The Big Hollow is our take on a handlebar harness or old-school cape roll/seat pack.
It can be mounted onto your handlebars or to your saddle via saddle tabs (Brooks style), and is capable of holding an 8-20L dry bag (not included).

Side Release buckles make for quick and easy loading and unloading.

Use foam spacers against the seat post to eliminate thigh rub, or on the handlebars to allow cable movement. We recommend the ones made by Andrew over at Andrew the Maker.

Three 8" long velcro one-wrap straps included.

While not designed for dropper posts, I have experienced good results and almost complete dropper cycle running this on a hardtail mountain bike with an 8L drybag. Depending on the compression of your rear triangle during use, you may also find that the bag fits nicely between your wheel and frame when your dropper is slammed.

Why run a horizontal rear bag? The same reasons people don't run seat packs out front. Unicorns are cool and all, but.....modern saddle bags are fraught with issues of compression, sag, and wobble without a complicated strap or support system.. By turning the bag laterally to the frame, almost all of those issues are eliminated. Not only is this similar to Carradice style bags (Fabios chest, Swift Zeitgeist, etc) popular among many cyclists it adds the benefit of removing all the bags contents in one easy motion for those that like to bring everything inside at night.
