Rock Pile Pack

The Rock Pile is a 40-60L pack built for multi-day expeditions and extended backcountry tours.

The main pack body sits at 40L; just enough space for a full days gear in the winter backcountry or a weeks worth of summer backpacking gear. The roll-top adds an additional 20L on top for over-flowing winter sleep gear and big resupplies.

A removable 5L brain keeps small items right at hand and organized, with two separate zippered pockets and additional lash points.

An exterior "wet" pocket with drainage grommets provides plenty of room and organization for a shovel, probe and skins. And features exterior side daisy chains and ice axe storage slots (optional), and additional lashing points.

Our suspension system allows us to customize each pack to the users torso and waist size; please leave your torso and waist measurement in the comments. It also allows us to provide either traditional styled shoulder straps or our vest style strap for additional storage up front. Both feature an adjustable sternum strap and Austere Cam buckles for single-touch, bombproof primary load buckle.

Inside, an HDPE and 1/4" EVA foam back panel provides structure and comfort while conforming to the unique contours of your back. An additional interior bladder sleeve and hook keep hydration systems contained. A small zippered pocket keeps extra valuable items tucked away.

Our side panels are available in multiple configurations to meet your needs and specific uses. Common configurations include a ski-specific a-frame ski carry strap system or a hiking-specific setup with large bottle pockets and compression system.
